On a sweet-sour day for India, Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles cruised into the semi-finals of men's doubles but the top-seeded mixed doubles pair of Leander Paes and Cara Black were shocked in the second round yesterday.

India had a fruitful day as Sania Mirza and Mahesh Bhupathi stormed into the quarterfinals while top seeds Leander Paes and Zimbabwean Cara Black advanced to the second round of the mixed doubles.
