Buldhana Accident: Two buses collide in Buldhana; 6 killed, 20 injured
Six people were killed and 20 injured in a major road accident in Maharashtra`s Buldhana late last night. According to the police, two buses collided head-on at around 2.30 am on NH 53 at Nandur Naka flyover in Malkapur area. District collector of Buldhana, gave information about this incident. This is the second major bus accident in the Buldhana district recently. On July 1, at least 25 people, including three children, were burnt to death, and eight others were injured when the bus they were travelling in caught fire on the Samruddhi-Mahamarg Expressway in the district.
26 killed in road accident on Mumbai Pune expressway
26 people were today killed after a speeding tempo rammed into their stationary bus on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. 17 people were also injured in the incident. The accident occurred at around 1 am when the victims were returning to Pune after attending a wedding in Mumbai. After their bus broke down at Khalapur on the expressway, the group got down and sat on the road between two buses - the second was also carrying people who were part of the marriage party.
