India logged 8,865 new Covid-19 infections, the lowest in 287 days, and 197 fatalities, while the active cases settled at 1,30,793, as per the Union health ministry data updated on Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Tuesday suggested that stickers should be given for houses to notify completion of both doses of Covid-19, to encourage uptake of vaccine among the population.
