Though BMRCL officials remain confident, the department is unlikely to meet the April 4 deadline, owing to the slow pace of work
>>Srihari was upset with BMRCL, who is working as an autonomous body, for not taking the State Government into confidence.

>> The cost was revised to Rs 8,300 crore, when the work commenced in 2007 after a delay of nearly a yearu00a0-- the deadline for Byappana Halli-M G Road stretch was March 2010.u00a0
>> The cost has been now re-estimated at Rs 11,600 crore with a 2013 deadline for the entire project, but is expected to escalate further as the BMRCL is unlikely to meet the deadline.
