Dehradun-Howrah Express derails in Uttar Pradesh

Five coaches of the Dehradun-Howrah Express derailed in Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh, railway officials said.

District officials who rushed to the accident site said that the derailment took place a little after noon and that five of the 18 coaches of the train ran off the tracks.u00a0
Last week, in another train mishap, at least 25 people were killed and nearly 70 others injured when the Bangalore-bound Hampi Express overshot a signal and collided with a stationary goods train at Andhra Pradesh's Penukonda station.
