Police said that they had received information that a call girl racket involving foreign nationals was being run from Lajpat Nagar for the past two months. "After we identified the pimp, a decoy customer contacted her on her cellphone. On Wednesday, they agreed to meet the decoy at a place in Lajpat Nagar-I. On meeting the decoy, the pimp told him that the charge was Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 a day.
A deal was struck and part payment of Rs 5,000 was made to the pimp, who then took the decoy inside the premises. Police immediately raided the place and nabbed the five accused,'' a senior police official said.
"Interrogation of all the accused revealed that the pimp has been staying in India for the last three years. She operated from different areas in NCR and shifted her base frequently to avoid detection," sources added.
