A restaurant in Chamarajpet sells booze all through polling day, flouting the Election Commission's norms without a care, and mocking the huge police force in the neighbourhood

So you thought liquor sale was banned on election day? We went looking, and found a restaurant in the heart of Bangalore doing brisk business.

And we didn't have much difficulty walking in, pretending to be buyers, and buying two quarter bottles of the 'banned' stuff.

>>He demands Rs 100 for a quarter bottle, which on a normal day costs Rs 40. We also buy Amrut's Silver Cup brandy for Rs 50. The regular price is Rs 20.
