Arrests made in senior's murder case

The crime branch has arrested four people (of which two are minors) in connection with the murder of senior citizen Qamar Ali Babai at Dongri on May 23

Babai, 65, was allegedly murdered by Saeed Gulam Hussain Dabesthani alias Irani, Shubham Ramakant Pandey, Harikesh Rajnarayan Pal, Rakesh Bastiram Saini, Nitesh Chanda, and Amir Jalal. Police have arrested Irani, Pandey, Pal and Saini. Chanda and Jalal are absconding, said Arun Chavhan, inspector, crime branch.u00a0

Irani lived in a room owned by Babai, a real estate agent, at Dongri. Fed up with Babai’s demands to vacate, he hired the other accused from Nalasopara and killed Babai.
