A transport expert, requesting anonymity, said, “If the project is approved, this is going to reduce a lot of stress on Mumbai locals. No doubt, passengers will face minor issues during the extension of platforms but in the long run, this project is a boon for Mumbai. The only hope is that the Railway Board approves this project.”
