Tanisha, a student at Deogiri College in the New Usmanpura area of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar scored 100 marks each in OCM, Pali, and Economics. Tanisha told mid-day, “I did not study throughout the year and never expected to score 100 per cent. I did expect somewhere above 95 per cent. Above all, the board informed me that I am the only student across the state to score 100 per cent. Whatever I am, and the person I have grown into, I would give all credit to chess.” Renuka, Tanisha’s mother, said, “Despite limited study time, Tanisha performed exceptionally well. She is currently preparing for the CA exams.”
