To efficiently manage such large-scale infrastructure projects, an IT-based solution is essential for tracking progress and providing work details to citizens transparently.

The official further emphasised the need for such a solution by explaining that since all work sites are not directly related, records are maintained separately, making it a challenging task to collate data for analysis and reporting from various sites. Coordinating with multiple agencies and BMC staff adds to the complexity. Therefore, an IT-based solution is imperative for capturing data from all sites, analysing progress, identifying shortfalls, and assisting in planning.
