The Chembur police have detained an auto rickshaw driver after they found a dismembered corpse of a woman in Tarai lake at Chembur on Tuesday night. Officials said that the Trombay police found two missing limbs of the woman lying in the mangroves at Trombay Jetty
“We suspect the rickshaw driver that we have detained is the same person whose vehicle was used to dump the body in the lake, and dispose the limbs in the mangroves. We are yet to find the head and the arms of the woman,” said an officer from the Chembur police station.

The police are yet to send the limbs and the body for forensic analysis, but observing the complexion of the victim, the cops suspect that they belong to the same person.
“We are questioning the auto driver, and only he can tell who killed her and threw her body parts at different places,” added the police
