According to airport officials, the Apron Controller informed them about the incident around 4.06 am, after which the Domestic Control room was told that a passenger named Al Mamari Abdwaziz Abdullah Saif had molested a crew member mid-air.

The arrest comes less than a month after two flyers on Indigo’s 6E 221, a Delhi-Guwahati-Imphal flight, were caught clicking pictures and filming an air hostess. The Jet flight in question leaves Muscat at 12.20 am local time and reaches Mumbai around 4.25 am IST. Al Mamari was handed over to Sahar police officials. He was to travel to Bangkok from Mumbai as a tourist.

“He allegedly misbehaved with two more air hostesses,” said an airport official. Flight diverted
There was a medical emergency on Philippine Airline’s flight PR 683 (Dammam - Manila) and it was diverted to the international terminal around 1.33 am yesterday. David Flores, a passenger, was rushed to Cooper Hospital due to chest pain. The flight took off after he was de-boarded.
