Another Mumbaikar lost his life due to a tree fall, which has been blamed on the strong monsoon winds, on Tuesday evening.
Sadashiv Sawant (65), died after a tree fell on his house in Nanepada near Mulund railway station around 6.30 pm. He was rushed to Savarkar Hospital where he was declared 'brought dead' at 6.50 pm. His body was subsequently handed over to Navghar police station.
Two others, Ramesh Chavan (25) and Sunil Parab (54) also suffered injuries and were shifted to Sion hospital late in the night.
