Metro and monorail projects may be affected by the code of conduct to be announced before the Lok Sabha elections.

"For Metrorail phase-II, a foundation stone ceremony is yet to be performed and work on the monorail has not yet started.
If the code of conduct is announced, then the projects would be delayed by at least three to four months," a senior official from Urban Development Department said.
The Mumbai Trans-Harbour Link and skywalk proposed for railway stations are also likely to be delayed, he said.
