Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan has sanctioned Rs 25 lakh from the Chief Minister's fund for the first Marathi world literary meeting to be held in the US next month.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan has sanctioned Rs 25 lakh from the Chief Minister's fund for the first Marathi world literary meeting to be held in the US next month.
The Marathi literary meet, organsied by Mahrashtra Mandal Bay Area, Untied States, is to commemorate the silver jubilee of the Mandal.
Sandeep Devkule, Chairman of the organising committee, had requested Chavan to provide financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh, an official release issued here said today.
