The edition comprises cartoons from Manjul’s work in 2022 for various newspapers and his Patreon account, which has never been posted on social media, and being behind paywalls, is a collector’s item. Initially, the idea was to come out with a short collection as a giveaway for friends since not everyone had access to the cartoonist’s work. A calendar would suit this. But having found its way to social media after being posted by recipients, fans inquired, and Manjul obliged. “We work for the readers, so we printed more calendars,” he tells us, and adds that this collection is for those who enjoy the cartoons and would like to have it on their desks.
