The business of trading in cocaine is such that it spans continents, weaving a mesh of sellers, buyers and brokers who operate under the radar of governmental figures, or at least those among them who aren’t looking for a slice of the pie. ZeroZeroZero is a web series that follows this murky network, through the trope of a shipping container that, quite literally, finds itself in sticky waters while smuggling 5,000 kg of the stuff. But, the plot humanises the people involved without glorifying the drug. I binge-watched the first season, which ironically reflects how the show, too, is addictive, just like the actual substance.
