In a first-of-its-kind initiative, IPAC Australia, a continuum of Apsara Arts’ annual dance convention, Dance India Asia Pacific (DIAP), has taken on a new avatar, and will now aim to present the performing arts with a new vision.
To kick things off, till July 18, the forum will be organising a series of webinars, lecture demonstrations, performances featuring eminent names from the Indian classical music and dance fraternity. These include Leela Samson (in pic), Dr Vyshnavie Sainath, VP Dhananjayan and Shantha Dhananjayan, and Priyadarsini Govind. The month-long celebration of dance is in collaboration with The Academy of Indian Music and Monash University, in association with Aalap, Chennai.
