Book fairs are a rarity in Mumbai’s central suburbs. Hence, it should come as good news for readers in and around Powai, that a books festival is currently underway. Located at a venue in Hiranandani Gardens, the event is the ideal place to grab bestsellers across genres ranging from self-help, fantasy, management, travel to parenting, autobiographies, Indian fiction, and children’s books. Other interesting titles can be found on topics like cooking, children, romance and comics. The organisers are also offering a range of discounts (see box), wherein you can sell books. Over one lakh copies of books are on display for visitors at the festival.
