The interiors proved to be a bit jarring in some sections.

The Veg Lasagna, cooked in a creamy and mildly spicy sauce with fresh vegetables cooked between the sheets was a hit with this Italian food lover. The Kukkad Koftey was a meal in itself with the extremely soft pieces of kebabs served on the side of a portion of rice and gravy with a leg piece. The gravy deserves a mention as it made for a good mix of coconut milk flavour, usually savoured in Thai curries, with the punch of Indian spices. The cocktail, comprising whiskey and beery syrup, was mixed well and made for a regular drink.

The starters, which finally arrived, again did wonders. The Chilgoza Bharwa Khumb was a plate of mushrooms stuffed with a filling of olives and chillies, it was wolfed down quickly. The Galouti Kebabs, served on naan triangles, were of the melt-in-the-mouth variety. The service hitch aside, we would definitely do an encore to N Bar and Grill, simply for their delicious fare.
