Q. What is your take on success and how to achieve it?
A. Success is the culmination of one’s determination, hard work and perseverance. Success happens when one is focussed on quality and creating value. It can be  achieved when one is willing to make mistakes and take the initiative to go out and make this happen. In my case, I believe that beyond all these, I have been blessed to have so many people who have helped me during my journey.

Q. The book has described the difficult circumstances of your childhood and your journey to becoming the founder of a large enterprise; can you give some tips to youngsters so that they learn from your mistakes and become successful entrepreneurs?
A. An entrepreneur is one who has a dream and is willing to pursue that dream relentlessly.  Having started out on that path, she/he must have sufficient courage to make mistakes; because challenges, defeat and despair are all merely indicators that will take us to the right path. Each of us should be brave enough to make our own mistakes. Only when we are willing to make mistakes can we create or invent something new. My advice to the youngsters is to stop looking for short-cuts to success; it is only persistent hard work that will help you achieve success. Treat every challenge as an opportunity and every mistake a lesson to be learnt.
