Such is the paradox of skincare, that it splits people into two groups: those who couldn’t care for it, and those who swear by their seven-step routine. When it comes to the latter, what can be deemed as ‘excessive’ skincare use has become an all-too-common practice. While it's easy to get caught up in the plethora of products available on the market, believing that using more is better can be counterproductive. “Skincare enthusiasts often fall prey to the belief that the more products they use, the better their skin will be. However, this notion, popularised by the beauty industry, is a dangerous misconception.
