To create the look:

1. Start by applying waterproof eyeshadow primer to prevent the shadow from budging.

2. Next, apply a gel liner or kohl on your lash line with a thin brush and use a blending brush to smudge it.

3. Create a wing-shade with the liner to lift your eyes. Use a firm brush to draw thin lines; these will be the base from which you smudge the colour out.

4. Next, apply eyeliner on your waterline to add more intensity and depth. Smudge this with a blending brush. To make the look more dramatic, you can apply a little red lip lacquer on the rims of your eyes or your crease.

5. Dab a little transparent lip gloss on the centre of your eyelids, using your fingertip.

6. Finish your look with individual lashes and a few coats of voluminous mascara, Sharma instructs. 

While wearing this look, keep your skin fresh and natural-looking. “Only highlight the highest points of your face, such as the T zone or under your eyes, with concealer. Use a stain on your lips in a wine or red colour, or use gloss,” she concludes.
