mid-day has learnt that Sandeepa Dhar will be leading the laugh riot. This comes as another plum project for the actor who bagged Mai, Anushka Sharma’s gritty web series for Netflix, earlier this year. Dhar, seen in MumBhai last year, says the chance to bring to life one of Imtiaz’s stories was enough reason for her to say yes to the OTT offering. “For every actor, it is a great opportunity to work with a marvellous storyteller like Imtiaz Ali, who is known to bring out the best in his actors. The characters from his stories come alive so beautifully on screen and remain etched in our minds.” The actor adds that the series has been shot in Bhopal.
