The film, inspired from real-life incidents, portrays the conflict between two families. It reaches a dangerous point where murder and violence are the only available options. It also traces the metamorphosis of a young boy in love, who becomes an uncontrollable beast during the tumultuous phase.

"The hero of my film, Balbeer (Akhilesh Verma) is a happy-go-lucky, god-fearing boy who's fully focused on sports in college life. He falls in love with a sweet girl and they have an innocent relationship. But the death of his love fills him with rage and hatred."

"His innocence not only gets crushed but takes such a dangerous avatar that only draws fear from people. I've read about these kinds of incidents in the life of numerous real-life gangsters," Khanna said.
