The ceremony was held at London's Royal Festival Hall. In India, the awards were streamed on Lionsgate Play. 

Deepika presented Jonathan Glazer with the Best Film Not In The English Language award for 'The Zone Of Interest'. She looked chic in her ethnic avatar that was complimented with dewy makeup, kohl-rimmed eyes, a messy hair bun, and statement earrings. 

Besides Deepika, the other presenters included former England football star David Beckham, singer Dua Lipa, Cate Blanchett, Adjoa Andoh of 'Bridgerton' fame, 'Wonka' Oompa Loompa Hugh Grant, and 'Emily in Paris' fame Lily Collins. 

Several pictures and videos of Deepika backstage during the awards night have surfaced on social media. The actress has time and again set the bar for her sartorial choices, especially when it comes to exuding elegance in a six-yard. This isn’t the first time Deepika has opted for a saree for an international appearance. She has previously worn it for her Cannes Film Festival debut, as well as in 2022 when she served as a jury member. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika was recently seen in the aerial action thriller film 'Fighter' opposite Hrithik Roshan. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the film also starred Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi in pivotal roles and received good responses from the audience. 

Deepika will be next seen in the sci-fi action thriller film 'Kalki 2898 AD' alongside south actor Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan. Helmed by Nag Ashwin, the film will hit the theatres on May 9, 2024.
