They had called it quits a few days ago but Hollywood couple Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson have sparked rumours that they are back to being back!

They were seen posing together backstage at the Spike TV 2011 Guys Choice Awards.



Penn, 50 and Johansson, 26, who dated for four months, announced their split earlier this week and did not walk the red carpet together at the award ceremony.

But the duo later posed together back stage at the Los Angeles event.

They seemed to avoid meeting each other earlier with Johansson walking the red carpet alone while Penn arrived late to accept an award from Robert De Niro.

But after Penn received his award, he was photographed hugging Johansson backstage.

Speculations about their break-up began when Johansson missed the Cannes premiere of Penn's latest film, The Tree of Life.
