On Sunday, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal celebrated one month of their wedding with a new set of mushy photographs. Kat posted, “Happy one month, my heart.” Kaushal’s caption read, “Forever to go.” On Friday, Kat winged her way to Indore to be with hubby dearest who is shooting there. While congratulating the two, Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote, “Bless you both.” Kat’s buddy Mini Mathur posted, “Already! Happy one-month lovebirds. Love you both,” she wrote. Kaif and Kaushal tied the knot on December 9 at a destination wedding in Rajasthan. 

Will Sonu go politicking?

Though Sonu Sood has maintained that he will keep away from politics, it remains to be seen if he will campaign for sister Malvika. She is contesting the Punjab assembly elections next month. Speculation is rife that she will be fighting on a Congress ticket.

There had been talk earlier that she was seeking an AAP nomination. Sood has already stepped down as the state icon of Punjab. He bagged the honour for his humanitarian work during the lockdown in 2020.

Parineeti Chopra turned food taster at brother Sahaj’s new restaurant in Faridabad. “We grew up eating the best Punjabi food and were never satisfied at any restaurant. The dal wasn’t makhni enough, the butter chicken too sweet, and the food extremely oily. Sahaj decided it was time to create that taste we were constantly looking for — just yummy food,” wrote Pari, who spent three days eating everything on the menu. Their cousin Priyanka Chopra Jonas runs an Indian food restaurant in New York — it’s all in the family.

The virus continues to strike

Bollywood continues to be infected by the Coronavirus. Arijit Singh informed in a Facebook post that he tested positive. The singer added that wife Koel had also contracted the disease. “We have quarantined ourselves,” posted the crooner. Four More Shots Please! actor Maanvi Gagroo shared a picture of a bowl of chicken soup sent by writer buddy Abbas Dalal, which was helping her “fight COVID”. Nafisa Ali Sodhi (inset) is in a Goa hospital after testing positive. She has developed a high fever and severe throat congestion.

“I hope to be allowed home in a few days for self- isolation,” informed the veteran actor who features in the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Uunchai. Esha Gupta shared a health update on social media. “Despite the utmost precautions, I tested positive for COVID-19. I have been following the protocols and have isolated myself and currently under home quarantine.” The actor hoped “to come back stronger and better out of this.” Television star Kamya Punjabi has also been struck by the virus. The Shakti actor posted she survived the first two waves but was caught by the third. “So here I am with high fever, a spinning head and body ache. This too shall pass. Mask up people,” added Punjabi.
