After filing a plea in the Delhi High Court for permission to travel abroad, Jacqueline Fernandez has withdrawn it. The awards show she was to attend in Dubai this weekend has been deferred. Under the ED radar for her association with Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who is arrested in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case, she had even asked the ED to return her Sri Lankan passport. But her request was denied as the officials felt she might not return to India if she gets her Sri Lankan passport.

Considered one of the fittest women in B-Town, Vaani Kapoor wants to create a platform that enables people to a pursue holistic and balanced living. The Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui actor, who is a foodie and loves to indulge occasionally, says, “While I love to eat, I also have to take care of my well-being.” Eager to share her fitness journey with like-minded people, Vaani adds, “I want to share my fitness secrets and learn what others are doing so I can incorporate them into my daily life. Iulia Vântur, who will be seen in Laila Manju, was recently spotted along with director Prem Soni and Arhaan Singh at Samyukta Singh’s Japanese restaurant in Worli. Samyukta, who made her Bollywood debut opposite Ayub Khan in Salaami (1994), is a restaurateur. Though she bid adieu to acting long ago, she remains connected to the entertainment industry, courtesy her actor-sisters Natasha and Tanya, and friends like Prem. Iulia, who has previously collaborated with Prem on Radha Kyun Gori Main Kyun Kaala, was happy to savour the specialities at Samyukta’s restaurant. 

Rahul speaks for a cause

The number of movies he has done in his career so far is a good indication that Rahul Khanna is picky about the work he does. He has been roped in by a leading brand to lend his voice for a unique campaign highlighting people who are comfortable in their skin. Centred on those  who live life on their own terms unapologetically, the campaign features several members of the queer community as it celebrates individuality and freedom, with Rahul giving the voiceover. Talking about his new role, Rahul says, “I’m happy to narrate ‘It’s my nature’ for the campaign that conveys a liberating message. It states that no matter who we are and what we do, we have to be comfortable with ourselves. The narrative is compelling and everyone cast in the film is real, relatable and staying true to themselves and their part of the story. It was a great experience lending my voice to this film and celebrating these unique individuals.”

Bonding with the Roshans

If there was any doubt left about Saba Azad being considered family by the Roshans, this piece of news should clear that. The Rocket Boys actor, who has been dating Hrithik Roshan for a few months now, joined his family to celebrate his cousin Eshaan’s birthday on Tuesday. So far, we have seen Saba joining Duggu, his uncle Rajesh Roshan and his family for a Sunday lunch and interacting with them on social media. This time around, she joined the entire Roshan clan — including Hrithik’s father Rakesh and mother Pinkie — for the get-together. The Krissh filmmaker shared a picture from the gathering, captioning it, “Eshu birthday greetings with a warm family celebration.” 

Kareena’s khaana khazana

Currently shooting with Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma for her new film under the direction of Sujoy Ghosh in Kalimpong,  Kareena Kapoor Khan seems to be making the most of her stay there. The actor, who is particular about her diet, has reportedly opted for a popular local eatery. From Khow-suey and Nepali cuisine, to pork curry and potato pickle, the Laal Singh Chaddha actor is relishing the delicacies from her new favourite restaurant. A source says that Bebo had heard so much about this eatery that she wanted to try some of its dishes. And now that she has had a taste, Kareena can’t get enough of it.
