Tusshar apparently is not very fluent in Marathi. So he decided to take help from his co-star and friend Riteish who is a complete Marathi mulga. The actor says, “I am not playing a Marathi character. It’s a role of an aspiring actor.

Therefore, he does all these impersonation. Singham belongs to Maharashtra, so Riteish is helping me pick up the language and the correct accent. I know a little bit of Marathi but not as much as him.”

So is he taking special classes? “Not really. We just chat a lot in between shots and he teaches me Marathi words and how to say them. Our training sessions are pretty informal,” the actor points out.

Speaking on how Riteish fares as a Marathi teacher, the actor laughs and says, “Oh, he is damn good! If nothing else (Bollywood) works, he can always fall back on his Marathi teaching talent.”
