If you thought that serenading under a beloved's balcony happened only in films, here's an exception.
If you thought that serenading under a beloved's balcony happened only in films, here's an exception. Actor Emraan Hashmi has done it, with not too great results. He tells CS, "It was probably the silliest thing I have ever done in my life. I sang for my then-girlfriend and now wife Parveen under her building.
I stood in the compound and was belting out numbers below her window. Now, I was quite besura and was thrown out of the society in no time by the members. The funniest thing was Parveen slept through this entire performance. She didn't hear any of my songs or neighbours' protests. What I thought would be a classic romantic idea turned out to be a big flop."
