Son of veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, Ranbir made his debut in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2007 film 'Saawariya', which didn't find favour at the box office. However, his work in his subsequent ventures 'Wake Up Sid', 'Rochkstar' and 'Barfi' won him accolades and awards.

Describing his celluloid journey so far as 'amazing', Ranbir acknowledged that his passion and profession are the same. 'It's been amazing. I don't know how these five years have passed... I don't know how these nine film have released. I am really happy that I get to do what I love and I think what is important is that you should do what you love,' he said.
