Actor skips picking up his awards trophy to attend buddy's wedding
All eyes were on him when Abhishek Bachchan left a recently concluded award ceremony without receiving his award for Bol Bachchan. He was at the event for a while but didn’t wait to collect his prize. The reason being that AB had to attend a close friend’s wedding in Mahalaxmi.
A source says, “Abhishek was at the event hosted by Salman Khan and was seen spending time among the audience. But when his name was announced in an awards category, he was nowhere to be seen.” Insiders say he had reached the venue for the awards gala at 8 pm with Karan Johar. He waited for a long time but he did not want to let his friend down. He left around 10 pm.”
