Akshay Kumar on Tuesday said he was no matchmaker but he did introduce his 'Khiladi 786' co-star Asin to friend Rahul Sharma, whom she is reportedly marrying soon.

Asin, 29, has not publicly commented about her relationship to the Micromax co-founder but her colleagues in the industry have been open about it.

"Yes, it is true that I introduced them (Asin and Rahul). But I have not opened any company for matchmaking," Akshay told PTI when asked about reports claiming he was the matchmaker.

Asin will be next seen in 'All is Well' opposite Abhishek Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor. The road journey drama will hit theatres on August 21.

Meanwhile, Akshay, 47, is gearing up for 'Brothers', his first collaboration with Karan Johar.
