Obesity surgeon Dr Muffazal Lakdawala marries his patient

Former Mrs World Aditi Gowitrikar's ex husband Muffazal Lakdawala has found love again.

Mumbai's leading obesity surgeon got married to Priyanka Kaul in Goa on March 5, chupke se. The newlyweds had a reception at US (United Services) Club in Colaba, the next day.



Incidentally, the bride is the daughter of Major-General TK Kaul (who is allegedly involved in Adarsh land scam).

How they met

A source close to Muffazal tells us how the dulha-dulhan first met, "Priyanka had a stomach problem, for which she met Muffazal as a patient. He treated her and they eventually fell in love.

We called up the doctor and congratulated him. He accepted the compliments but on learning that the call was from a mediaperson, changed his tune. "I am a very private person and don't want to comment my personal life," he said.

Was Aditi invited to his wedding? He neither confirmed nor denied it. Aditi and her ex husband who parted ways two years ago have a daughter Kiara and a son Zhiaan.
