When you're in the public eye, you can't be spontaneous all the time. So we don't blame our celebrities for using their cliched lines on us. It's just that we know better! Here are some lines we get to hear all the time:

1. I'm being very selective.
What it means: What can I do if no one wants to sign me on?

2. I'm experimenting with different roles.
What it means: I regret having played this character. I don't know what I was thinking then.

3. We're just friends.
What it means: We're more than friends which is why you are writing about us. We don't want to tell you that we've hooked up because then you might stop giving us the publicity.

4. I'm just like the charcter in the film.
What it means: Hopefully, that should make me sound more credible as an actor

5. Working on this film was such a great experience
What it means: If I were to tell you what really happened, I would be enemies with the crew for the rest of my life.
