“It’s always great fun and we put a lot of work into keeping it that way,” says Aryavrat Goenka, co-founder of UrbanMatch, a matchmaking app that holds singles’ events all over the country. “We begin with letting the attendees mingle and then start with games that are sure to help break the ice, after which we once again let them talk to each other. The games are designed in a way that the initial awkwardness is bound to go away,” he says.
