And, they are now in Mumbai. Without giving too much away, here’s what you can expect. The Mumbai Ripper is a fictional murderer who has been targeting innocent victims. It’s now up to the team of detectives to scramble across town, hunt down the virtual witnesses and clues to ultimately take down the Ripper. 

The entire game will roughly take around two to three hours to complete. The teams can start anytime between 9 am and 2 pm—whether you want to be the fastest team, or prefer to make a day of it, it’s up to you, as long as you finish by 5 pm. To play, you’ll need at least one smartphone, a clever team name and a detective-inspired fancy dress, which is optional but fun. Each team needs to consist of six players.

A purchase of one ticket covers all members. Children under the age of 16 can play for free and are not included in the team numbers. We like that this means that the whole family or a bunch of friends can play for one price. The goal is to complete the mystery by guessing who “The Ripper” is and what weapon he or she used to do the deed. Once you guess correctly, the game is over. There are prizes for the following categories: fastest team, best fancy dress (detective inspired), best team picture, best team name, best young detective (under 16), best K-9 (for dogs).
