India were 53 for one in their second innings in reply to Australia's 659 for four declared at tea on the third day of the second cricket Test here today
India were 53 for one in their second innings in reply to Australia's 659 for four declared at tea on the third day of the second cricket Test here today.
Gautam Gambhir was unbeaten on 39 with Rahul Dravid on seven. Australia declared their first innings at 659 for four and took a huge 468 runs lead over India. Skipper Michael Clarke remained unbeaten on 329 and Mike Hussey scored 150 not out.
India, who scored 191 in their first innings, still trail Australia by 415 runs with nine wickets remaining at the Sydney Cricket Ground here.
