Legendary singer-composer Bappi Lahiri was cremated today at Vile Parle crematorium, in Mumbai, after he breathed his last on Tuesday night (February 15) at Mumbai`s hospital. Vidya Balan, Mika Singh, MLA Ameet Satam, and other personalities were present at the cremation. The pioneer of disco music in Bollywood passed away at the age of 69. The singer was admitted to Criticare Hospital in Mumbai’s Juhu area. The cause of the singer`s death was said to be OSA (obstructive sleep apnea).

Three people died and five injured after a group of women fell into a well in Vile Parle. The iron grill covering the well on which the group was sitting and performing the puja rituals gave way and fifteen of them fell into the well. While 11 were rescued, 3 died.
