An emotional story of a father and son`s reunion is going viral. Sukhpal Singh from Amritsar was joyfully reunited with his Japanese son, Rin Takahata, after 20 years. Rin, a 21-year-old student at Osaka University of Arts, was working on a family tree project when he decided to find his father. With only his father`s name, an old address, and some photographs from his mother Sachie Takahata, Rin traveled to Amritsar. On August 18, he asked for help on Fatehgarh Churian Road and was directed to Sukhpal Singh`s new home on Loharka Road. The reunion happened just before Raksha Bandhan, a special time for families. Despite previous unsuccessful attempts to connect via social media, the emotional moment of their meeting was captured in a video that has gone viral online.
