Drone footage captured the devastating aftermath of the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express derailment near Uttar Pradesh`s Gonda railway station on July 19. Aerial views revealed the chaotic scene where eight bogies lay scattered between Motiganj and Jhilahi railway stations under the North Eastern Railway`s jurisdiction.  In a tragic incident, multiple coaches of 15904 Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express went off the tracks leading to a major rail mishap on July 18. The accident occurred near Jhilahi Railway Station close to Gonda district of UP.

Shocking details have been revealed by passenger onboard the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express. In a tragic incident, multiple coaches of 15904 Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express went off the tracks on July 18. The accident occurred near Jhilahi Railway Station close to Gonda district of UP. As per Gonda DM, two people died and around 20 were injured in the incident. A passenger travelling in the Dibrugarh-Chandigarh Express claims, “I had to go to Hajipur... There was a mild explosion (before the incident) and after that a strong jolt was felt and our coach derailed. We were coming from Chandigarh...”
