Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 09 drew parallels between the 2010 Commonwealth Games and 2023 G20 Summit. Nirmala Sitharaman highlighted the scandals that happened during the Commonwealth Games and said that India was mocked all across the world. She also said that on the other hand, India’s G20 presidency under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s regime was a success and the countries across the world heaped praises for India.
