On July 2nd, a group of Khalistan radicals made an attempt to set the Indian Consulate in San Francisco on fire. Recently, US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti spoke about how the US administration prepares to handle such incidents. He said that every possible action under the Law will be taken. He added that International agencies are looking into it seriously and working with the Indian government as well. He claimed, no stone would be left unturned to prevent the violation.

Rahul Gandhi’s statement during his visit to the United States has drawn BJP’s ire. During an address in the US, Gandhi said that “Muslims in India are facing the same scenario what Dalits were facing in 1980s".
