This year, BMC decided to make a list of artificial lakes on Google Maps to make the information easily available to the citizens. Apart from this, devotees will also get information about artificial lakes through QR codes placed outside pandals

This year, the civic body faced the issue of land availability to create artificial ponds

The civic body directed citizens to immerse their idols in artificial ponds instead of natural bodies to prevent pollution. Accordingly, each year, it readies artificial ponds across the city, such as this one at Bhoiwada
