Brace yourselves as the extremely hot weather is set to persist through the entire week in the Konkan region, including the city, with the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing a yellow alert for heatwave warnings in Mumbai, Thane, and Raigad. On April 29, Mumbai recorded a temperature of 39.1 degree Celsius, marking the second-highest temperature for this season, following closely behind the peak of 39.7 degree Celsius earlier this month.
