The workshop aims to cover various forms, mediums and contexts of art, and arm viewers with approaches to better engage with art and the confidence to express their opinions.

Speaking about the discourse around art, Aditi shares, “The kind of language used in art has been developed for a reason, to [aptly describe works and concepts]. In art school, we have learnt the demystification of this language and are comfortable interpreting it and engaging with it as a viewer.” Mehta adds, “As viewers, it is our responsibility to approach a work with attention and intention, to give our time to perceive it and complete the conversation the artist has begun.”
