Studies reveal that becoming more environmentally conscious and getting fit are two of the most common resolutions people make every year. To help you get one step closer towards these goals, Omega Events is organising a multi-city 10-km marathon.

“Every participant must pledge to make one ‘green’ change in their lifestyle — this could range from planting a tree to using more sustainable products. In addition to focusing on the importance of physical fitness, we also want to raise awareness about the fact that caring for the environment must be a collective and individual effort,” says Sarita Tanwar, one of the event’s organisers.
In view of the pandemic, participants are being encouraged to run, walk, jog or cycle at home or at the gym (where applicable). “They can use any time-keeping app for free. Once they complete 10 km, they need to send us a screenshot of the app and we will send them a physical medal as well as an e-certificate,” she adds.
