Art platform Terrain.art is whipping up something interesting for aspiring digital artists. In November, the platform will conduct a three-day series of sessions, titled Digital Art Labs, dedicated to helping artists learn more about digital art by creating a conducive environment for experimentation. To kick things off, they’ve put out a call inviting applications.
“The art labs are a series of workshops that aim to be an online meeting ground for South Asian artists, creators, gamers , coders, designers and writers who are engaging with digital mediums creatively and conceptually. We are looking for applicants who respond to these themes; how they define their interaction or relationship with the digital platform,” says Sukanya Deb, assistant curator of exhibitions at the Terrain.art.
